Arran & Rooftops

Spring sunlight is now showing the countryside around West Kilbride in the yellow and green colours that are more normal for mid-April than the recent near monochrome. Here the bright hues of the fields near Portencross contrast the still snow-clad Arran hills making them appear ghostly against the clouds. I like how the rooftops of the farm buildings seem to be echoing the shapes of the peaks. A simple point-and-shoot picture using my Nikon D300s.
