Sky Ripples

The wavy lines of the clouds struck me immediately today. There isn't much of interest in this direction, so I made the image all about the sky. To do so I had to tilt the camera up which does cause some distortion. In the sky it's not so noticeable and by limiting trees and buildings, they too are not distracting. The other direction looked grey even though the light came from there.

I find it difficult to decide how bright to make images with snow, which is obviously white, when the light is fading or mainly overcast.
