Noble effort!

This is the very first Cowslip trying to flower at the nature reserve. It is on a south-facing bank at the highest point of the reserve. This morning it was blowing a gale and a few metres away there was still a foot of snow. A sturdy little plant! I hope the rest are able to follow soon.
