A sad but fun at the same time kinda day

We got up early and went to the Lake for the $10 breakfast buffet which was amazing! The sun was shining and all was good. We got up to the top of the paradise bowl and I took this as some clouds loomed over Lake Louise. The conditions up there were nasty. The sun was in and out so it was good here and there.

In the afternoon I turned round and Kristen wasnt there... so I waited and waited. I was worried as this was unusual, but she could have quite easily gone the other way and missed the turning I took. So afer waiting I headed down in hope she was there waiting, but she wasnt. I continued to wait beginning to really panic, thinking she was going to be coming down in a stretcher, but remained positive.

10 minutes later I could see here slowly moving down with her arm limped up. She was in alot of pain and I took her straight to hospital. Gaging by the bulge on her back and the immense pain I thought there was a good chance something was broken. We were in and out the hospital in half an hour, within 15 minutes she d had 5 xrays and diagnosed. The mineral springs hospital is amazing.

Good news! No breaks just really really sore. I felt so bad for her as I know how painful shoulder things are. She had literally hit some slush patch with ice under it and just flipped over at speed. It happens unfortunately, not often, but its the nature of game and she understands that.

After doing the groceries and getting her comfortable I went out for a solid skate with Adam for 3 hours and it was amazing. I learnt alot of new stuff. when I got back we watched 'Some like it hot' with Marilyn Monroe. She seemed ok and slept well...
