Home from school

Tired children coming home from school.  One wanting to see a friend, one wanting to come straight home.  They are programmed to automatically want different things.  Toast and hot chocolate helped matters no-end, along with a game to take their minds off the day. 

I had a lovely day - peace and quiet.  Managed a walk with the dog, a run, and another late night dog walk.  Some masters work done along with other bits and pieces.  House is tidy, Christmas tree down and a bit of garden tidying. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Peace and quiet! 
Beautiful morning sunshine, even if it was -2 when we left home this morning 
School looking after the eldest when he became upset this morning as I left him (we think there is an issue with another child at school, but not quite sure).
