Delicate work

I got a call just after 4 to say a team had finally been found to fix the fibre at the office.

Three hours later our connection was checked and triple checked but no network was found.

It turns out that one of the cables further up the hill from the school had been damaged and because the school has been closed nobody had picked it up.

So, one step in the right direction, but still no connectivity so everyone will be working from home again tomorrow.

It was almost 8 by the time I got home so our planned supper out was replaced by fish suppers that I ordered en route and brought home. Not a bad alternative.
