Pipe Hill Heathland

In the Forest of Mercia. It used to be the main road to Burntwood in Staffordshire, but they built a new roundabout. It’s an interesting bit of protected land.  They’ve had grants to work towards retaining and developing the heathland. But access is limited (no money to make the centre accessible). And this morning it was seriously slippery. A short and careful stroll, on my way to refuel. 

But who could resist the gorgeous blue sky and sparkle.
