Craigmillar

We went for a wee hike up Arthurs Seat (hadn't been there for ages) -  but we're both somewhat out of condition and it was perishing cold, so we only got as far as Dunsapie Loch. We were probably mistaken to go up the dark side of the hill - it was great when we emerged into the sunshine and not only saw the view but felt a bit of warmth. Craigmillar Castle was advantageously lit by the low sunlight - it's usually hard to make out from the background of suburbia.
