Mysteries
A day it would have been tempting to forget. There were mysteries, like why so much snow was still sitting on this bench when we'd only had a smattering and most of it had melted away already. Also, a pair of trousers that turned up in a wardrobe that I swear I had never ever worn or seen before. They fit perfectly.
And then, in trying to do the right thing and being what I thought was appropriately risk averse around the Omicron situation, sending out an innocent email that precipitated a bewildering response and the emphasis of certain actions in an offensively bold typeface. My natural reaction is to question my own judgement and wonder if I was doing the wrong thing.
I've always tried to see the other point of view but I have to admit that my patience is wearing thin. It feels like everyone is feeling the same way at the moment.
