Snow (still) hangs heavily...

Two days ago I wrote; "Some trees are bowed right over, their crowns touching the ground."  Here are a couple of many such trees, seen from the kitchen window. The trees will stay weighed down with snow until we get really windy weather, or the snow melts away. Once that happens the trees may bounce back, or their trunks may have cracked lengthwise, in which case they will remain bent right over.
These arches make me think of a portal. Will something magic appear? Should I stick my head through?
