The garden

It's rained all day.  And it never really got light - but I have to admit, it could have been lighter if I had got out there sooner.  A good deal of the light on this photo is provided by our motion sensitive garden spotlight, which came on when W went to fetch wood for the fire.

Oh well.  A viburnum flowering behind, with the rather decorative bare stems of a cornus to the right, and a variegated pittosporum to the left.  All very wet - as was I, and the camera, by the time I had shot off a few frames.

We've had a day of admin - plus some sorting of clean washing and a modicum of ironing.  And at the end of the day, some packing.  We want to get a reasonably early start tomorrow - a long drive over to Swansea, in what promises to be MORE RAIN.
