DAMSELS MATING

I quite enjoyed this encounter with the mating damsels - I used a big lens as I have not been able to get close enough with the macro lens without falling into the pond ( which incidentally Mrs. PQ did the other day but thats another story)
the two difficulties are being able to isolate the subjects with such a messy background and a good sharp focus. I used a monopod on this occasion which helped I think - but still not the sharpest knife in the drawer.. Anyhow its not a bad nature shot of a couple of mating damsels??..
