LESSON IN OBSERVATION
No I dont work for National geographic and this shot wouldn't cut the mustard in a Club Competition. But very proud of the observation of a Kingfisher entering its nest. The birds would have made this hole in the cliff by diving and smashing the clay with their beaks. the two mates had had a meeting a little distance away on a power line before the change of shift. They called to each other to let the other know it was there. I have included a couple of extras to complete the story. Thanks also to BRONnz for her part in the observation
