Saturday: The Templeton

There definitely some advantages to being downtown.  This morning we walked to the Templeton Diner for breakfast.  We haven’t been there since we first arrived, over 5 years ago.  It’s been a diner since the 1950s and still has the original tables and jukeboxes.

This afternoon we went to the movies at 5th Avenue to see ‘Nightmare Alley’.  

Before that, we popped back to the house to see whether there was any progress on driers.  I am pleased to report that there are about 5 industrial dryers in place so that is definitely progress.  We (or rather my office) has booked the Airbnb until week after next but we think we might move back sometime next week.  We’ll see.

As for the movie, I really enjoyed it.  It’s very film noir, which I love, and also had Cate Blanchett in it, whom I love even more.
