Friday: Horizons

Another balcony shot, I’m afraid,  but I took this for SparseRunner who  mentioned that it would be good to see a horizon for perspective.

It was phenomenally windy today.  In fact, the balcony was quite terrifying at times.  The patio furniture was scooting across at speed, and I did worry that, when we ventured out, we might get blown overboard.  Anyway, we’re all still here, I’m pleased to report.

We popped back to the house this afternoon to pick up a few things and check the situation.  Some dryers were supposed to be delivered yesterday - well, no sign of them.  A sharply worded email and now they’re allegedly coming tomorrow.  It is annoying that the letting agency doesn’t seem to be taking this seriously.

To console ourselves we ordered an excellent Chinese takeaway so our spirits are now much improved.
