Before lunch - after lunch

My succession planting in the spring resulted in a whole lot of lettuces all ready to eat at the same time. But planting another lot in the autumn has been great. I never knew it was possible to have home-grown lettuce in January.

The Beethoven concert went really well, at least from my point of view. More discerning musicians had some criticisms. But I sang most of my notes in tune and at the right time and better singers covered for me when I didn't.
