St. Mary's Square
I (Chris) took a walk into Aylesbury at lunch time. Elements of the old town avoided the 1960's bulldozer frenzy and are well preserved. The houses surrounding the church are particularly well looked after with very little evidence of modernisation externally. Less than 10 minutes away from this view you're in the main shopping area of the town yet the square is always peaceful and tranquil.
The girls are here this evening (and tomorrow), cooked up a tasty spaghetti bolognese for tea. Annie and Rosie are busy playing a logic puzzle game whilst Immy is deep in the pages of Charles Dickens.
