Glimpse of Spring

The weather forecast suggested that it would be clear and icy this morning and so I anticipated lethal pavements. However, it was nothing but blue skies and mud. I slipped and slid around the local footpaths and fields and it was joyful. My trainers and I needed a good hose down at the end of it.

A post-Christmas lunch date over roast beef with the neighbours was just the treat we all needed on this mid-January Sunday.
