Red Stemmed Willows

It was sunny this morning but we didn't get out for our walk until 2pm, by which time a blanket of cloud hung in the east. Nonetheless, it remained bright.

Although everything looks dead and dormant in Nature, I'm always gladdened by the sight of red stemmed willows in the sun. They are there, on the far side of Dishley Pool.
