A rare shot . . .
of me for a change. Not something I normally post, but given the tremendous location and pleasing red jacket/red rock combo I couldn't resist.
This is Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado river in Arizona - very much a cliched, popular tourist site just off the highway, but then when you arrive for yourself and stare down into the deep chasm you can understand why people stop.
Credit to our tourguide Ted for taking this shot of me - he works for a small tour company out of Vegas that take small groups (up to 10) on a 2 day tour of Grand canyon and Antelope canyon, as well as some other fabulous stopping off points in Arizona and Utah. Search Max tours in Vegas if you're interested.
