2022 Saturday — A Walk in the Park
Stage Coach Park is where we walked with Chloe & Mitzi late this afternoon. We didn’t feel like walking but they did. They love the coast because every day, and I mean every day, we take them for a walk when we are on the Central Coast (unless it’s raining, and that’s rare).
At the coast we either walk on the sand or at the back bay or various other places. For some reason when we are in SoCal we don’t walk as much.
So this afternoon, even though neither of us felt like walking, we put Chloe’s & Mitzi’s harness on and hooked their leashes on and all kinds of excitement started erupting.
So I walked them halfway down our neighborhood street while we waited for Mr. Fun to get his act in motion. He drove to where we were and we all jumped in and we were off for an adventure.
Mr. Fun is still not feeling well. We spent what felt like hours at our medical facility yesterday. After three potent injections we had our hopes high that today he’d begin to feel better. But, no. So he’s moving rather slow. It was good, though, to get him to walk one huge lap around Stage Coach Park, which is not very far from our SoCal home.
After our walk, I asked if we could drive-thru the Starbucks up the street to order a “Medicine Ball Tea.” He was okay for doing that until, can you believe it, we were fully committed to the drive-thru when we placed our order and the voice coming out the speaker at us explained that they were out of the supplies/ingredients to make it for us.
I can tell you that my man was not very happy. It doesn’t help that we neither one have much respect for that company. Normally when we want a drive-thru coffee McDonald’s does a fabulous job for a lot less bucks.
So we headed back to the house where we enjoyed a quiet evening.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
