BFFL in Berwick

Visitors from Edinburgh. J and her daughter S. No 2 and S have been best friends since birth. J's other daughter (who attended nursery with No 1 daughter!) stayed at home to study for her upcoming Standard Grades.

It's been an absolute pleasure to watch these beautiful girls grow up. They only see one another every few weeks or so, but their friendship and enthusiasm for all things bling (!) is lovely to witness.

Trip into Berwick to tour the shops - including the Charity Shops. More than a few designer bargains have been bagged in Berwick over the years. This time No 1 found a designer jacket, No 2 came out with at least 3 books, and No 3....well..she likes all things cuddly.

Back at the cottage, Mr S was busy preparing Fajitas for dinner, so we all took a walk along the beach at Coldingham. No 1 filled a bag of sea shore goodies to draw for her Standard Grade Art exam - although we avoided the numerous dead seabirds. For some reason there were a lot of puffins and gulls on the sand. Very sad.

Evening viewing was 'Hunger Games' .

(P.S. they will probably both hate this blip - but I think it's lovely!)
