Joshua Tree National Park
It was a bit cool and overcast today so my friend Lisa and I thought it would be a great day to head up to Joshua Tree National Park - about an hour from their condo. We had a grand time, looking at all sorts of desert plants and rock formations.
The main blip is the remains of a Joshua Tree. The extras are yours truly (on the left) with Lisa; and Nolina parryi or Parry's Beargrass with its fascinating dried flower stalk.
