Slender ringtail damselfly

This little beauty posed so nicely for me this morning. It stayed ever so still. Damselflies and dragonflies like it in our garden because we have a few ponds which provide good places for depositing eggs and for the aquatic larval stage.

Extra: amazing anatomy.

Damselflies and dragonflies are said to be symbolic of change and adaptability. These would be close to hope on the spectrum of positive abstract ideas.
