THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER MULLET

It's Wide-Wednesday and the theme is Black & White. This fits both requirements.  YOU KNOW....I'VE BEEN VERY BUSY AND WHEN I AROSE THIS MORNING AFTER SHOOTING BASKETBALL LATE LAST NIGHT AND A 100 MILE ROUND TRIP DRIVE IN BELOW ZERO WEATHER, I WAS CERTAIN THAT THIS MORNING WAS WEDNESDAY.....THUS THE WIDE-WEDNESDAY POST. MEA CULPA! CHALK IT UP TO A "SENIOR MOMENT."

It's not quite the image seen in the jungles of Burma & Thailand but it served its purpose...that being to get motorized traffic across the Mullet River on Palm Tree Rd. (there's never been a palm tree here....EVER!) Likely a fun jab at Wisconsin's winter weather.

It's not structurally safe for motor traffic any more and not near wide enough...but bicyclists and ATVs still use it.

It lives just south of the Village of St. Cloud in Wisconsin. Nice little park there and plenty of visitors.
