Llyn Padern

Today F and I travelled to Snowdonia for a couple of nights. We stopped at Capel Curig where the light on the lake was beautiful and a couple of rowers added to the scene. (Extra)
My other extra is of a beautiful river near Llanberis.

At Llanberis we went for a walk alongside Llyn Padern where I took my main photo. It was beautiful in the sunshine with the mountains in the background including Snowden.

There were a number of wild swimmers in the water as well as canoes and paddle boarders making the most of the good weather. A chinook helicopter kept going over too as the visibility must have been great.

At our hotel we have met up with F’s daughter and son in law as they’ve been here a couple of nights and go back tomorrow. A great first day.
