Are you finished yet?

Chloe is asked to stay in her bed until we have finished eating. However, this evening, we caught her peering round the kitchen door to see how we are getting on. Little cheeky chops!
Waited in all morning for the engineer to call regarding the repair to our dishwasher. He had to haul the whole thing out and discovered that the basis of the problem is that the frame is twisted and the balance springs for the door just won’t work anymore. I.e. it is grubbed, basically. Although it is still usable, we will have to be careful that the door doesn’t come down and kneecap one of us!
Out for a walk this afternoon at Cambuskenneth. Thankfully it was dry and fairly bright but very chilly in the wind. 
Later, around sunset we had an extremely odd colour of sky, a kind of sickly pinky orange. Annoyingly it didn’t come out on my phone camera though.
