Canal bank life.

Along the canal again this morning and no sign of that pesky kingfisher! So here are a few other denizens of the area. I was rather pleased to catch both Maurice and Margot Merganser side by side and on the surface. Usually, one dives when the other surfaces.
Was quite amused with the little cat hunting on the far bank. I wonder if it thought I couldn’t see it behind the reeds.
This afternoon we did the full circuit of the Kelpies and the Helix park, fortified by coffee/hot choc and shortbread. Chloe (extra) looks a bit put out, maybe because she didn’t get a bit of that shortie!
