Strike a Pose

I headed to the small nature preserve/ lake not far from work. I stopped first by the lake portion, and it was filled with water fowl. There were seagulls, Canada geese, gadwall, and lesser scaup. There were so many I couldn’t get a good shot. Across the street there were three people bird watching. At first I could not see what they saw. Then they pointed out to me a Wilson Snipe. (See extra)There were mallards there. Then they told me around the bend was a blue heron. Sure enough there he was. A good blip day.
