The Story in the Sand......

I got for a lovely bike ride today:  cool, sunny, blue sky and a load of sand in the road.....
One of the dump trucks had run over a board with nails yielding a 2 flat tires.  The dump truck dumped the sand and then moved off to the side to change  the tires.    The traffic had gone by on the other side, spreading sand. 
     Then here comes me.........I could feel the back tire slip and slide.  I was very fortunate that I was able to keep the bike upright and going forward.   
Whew!!!!!   That was a close call!   I guess I have gotten fairly strong to be able to hold the bike.
