Wedding Party
Tai Po has this really pleasant public Waterfront Park that must have been built before the developers could get their paws on the land. There's a big tower thing whose purpose I honestly am at a loss to speculate, a children's playpark (quite rare in Hong Kong), and an insect education centre. The latter is really an excuse for kids to pose for pictures next to/sitting-on the giant insect models dotted around outside. Try as they might, I'm afraid the only insect-related education most people are interested in knowing is how to prevent mosquitos from eating you alive. Which I'm not convinced is a battle humans are necessarily winning.
There was a wedding shoot the last time we were in this park. So no big surprise to find this bride and her entourage wandering around for photographic opportunities. I was up in the aforementioned big tower, and wanted to capture the moment the posie was being thrown. Fortunately, the first time the flowers landed on the ground uncaught, so I got a second chance for this shot.
