A rural life for me

Adoption

I think this very beautiful Heiland Coo is an adoptive mother to the wee Beltie...

This the paddock across the road from my sister in laws house. There were several Highlands and Belted Galloways a few days ago but today there were only these two and a Beltie mum and another Beltie calf left.

Lovely day today - snow is melting but taking its time! Went blip spotting - have been very lazy in my blipping lately and with my commenting..... Went for a wee drive with the plan of getting some Heiland coo shots. Ended up stopping at lots of lamb filled fields and oooooow and aaaaaawing at them all jumping about and sunbathing.

Off to my mother in laws for dinner bed and breakfast tonight! I am sure there will be a stunning sunset over the sea to Ailsa Craig now that I have blipped.... oh well!!!

P.s It was a year ago today that I picked up my sister from the airport after not seeing her for 5 years..... My blip from a year ago says nothing of it but if you look at the blip from the next day the surprise is all revealed!
