Artificial Intrigue

Foggy for most of the day today. Slightly apprehensive as I passed through a field with a few feisty looking steeds. The dogs seemed to be more relaxed than usual; not optimal when trying to walk through quickly. I was relieved when waving then back with my hands, a few times, did the trick.

AI virtual requirements gathering
Attended the web user focus group call for users of the national RFU computer system. It turned out to be completely virtual including the presenter and all done via questions and answers on group chat. Many of questions required initial open text answers from the attendees. These were then flashed up to all the attendees, to agree or disagree, then a second processing routine gave prefer this or that answers to narrow it down, which got further and further refined. As a former digital business analyst it was of particular interest. I admired the logic and could see some of the benefits, but also plenty of downsides to the quality of information collected, particularly given the speed of answering.
