Ullswater

We started the day Orienteering at Penrith Beacon. I ran Green and glad I did as I need the practice. Richard set off on Short Green and I expected us to finish around the same time. However I was still waiting an hour later. Having had problems finding some controls he stuck to his task and finished.

Afterwards we travelled to Pooley Bridge and were lucky to find a car park. We then had a wander along the lake shore. Some lovely light and reflections in the extra as the steamer pulled into the pier.

A good active day.
