Food for thought
This morning we attended a meeting of our local sustainability group, where the subject was on eating more sustainably and reducing food waste. It is quite shocking how much food is wasted in the home.
We picked up a leaflet from a vegbox company, which sounds worth trying as you can choose what (mostly locally produced) veg, fruit, smoked fish, baked goods, and other foods you want included in your box, and there is no commitment to have a box every week.
We chatted with friends about local green issues, including how we would like to see more people planting their gardens with nature in mind, and how to engage young people with nature..
Later, we went for a walk and the blip is the view looking towards Yew Hill butterfly reserve.
