Chest-er two of us

This weekend has done us the world of good, especially the jacuzzi last night!

We had a lovely meal with a few drinks too. One of the reasons we stayed over is because Mr A is always the designated driver (I do offer!) so he can never have more than a shandy.

After a good nights sleep, we had a hearty breakfast before heading into Chester city centre for a wander round the shops.

It was a bit grey and drizzly walking round the shops but still nice to get some fresh air. Mr A spotted the actor Emmett J Scanlan (Hollyoaks, The Fall, Peaky Blinders and more recently, the ITV drama The Tower). He knows I’m good with faces, so he asked me to confirm it was the right person he was thinking of, though I did have to Google to find his name.

We had a bit of a walk along the wall, past the Cathedral and King Charles’ Tower, which is todays blip and the sun came out for a bit too.

On the way home, we called at Cheshire Oaks where Mr A got another pair of Levi’s.
I think we will both sleep well tonight :-)
