Day Three: Breaker Bay

Breaker Bay is about about a 500 metre walk up a hill from the main beach at Kaiteriteri. It is foot access only so does not get as crowded as other areas. I walked down the track to the Bay on my way back to the camp after a long walk this morning. Folk have taken time to create an interesting structure from driftwood at the water’s edge. This shady end of the beach is a popular spot to settle in on hot mornings. It’s lovely sitting in the shade on golden sands just a few steps from the water. Heaven on Earth.
