Hibiscus

My Hibiscus bushes are covered in flowers and buds - a lovely show.
No internet has kept me away from blipping for the last couple of days. With all the power outages going on our internet crashed, more frustrating over the weekend when our technician was unavailable. Hopefully the next planned outage, all day on Wednesday will not send things crashing again!!
Summer is here, hot and humid. Sadly our area remains dry while  other parts of the country are experiencing much rain, and some flooding.

Our 22 year old Champers cat had us worried on Friday as he vomited non stop, became dehydrated and lay limply in his bed, not responding to us. I gave him water in a syringe but he vomited it up. However once again, the next day he was his usual demanding self , ordering me to feed him!  Amazing cat. I took him to the vet today for a check up, and she gave him a concoction of injections -  for his arthritis, nausea, and vitamins and fluids. Once again we spoke about his quality of life, but agreed that while he is still demanding food and walking around, and putting up with Coda licking him and nudging him trying to get him to play, all is well.  Another nine lives maybe??
