Socially Distanced

It’s been two long days driving through outback NSW. So far we’ve seen feral goats, emus, cattle and sheep, a very large lizard, a hare, one kangaroo, several small birds of prey and crows BUT, the star appearance was a big Wedge Tailed Eagle ripping into roadkill beside the highway. Unfortunately, wild animals usually rush off as soon as they see a vehicle coming and we haven’t scored one decent photo. We’re about to cross into Queensland tomorrow.

Here’s a snap of us parked up at Bourke NSW. It’s 41c, the aircon is on max and Ash Barty is playing tennis on TV, round one of the Australian Open.

As you can see it’s easy to observe social distancing rules at the moment.
