Monday

A beautiful sunny day so plans were set aside and we started with a long walk.  Frosty and cold but the sun was glorious.  We followed a route we had walked previously but missed the footpath and ended up getting lost.  We tried to cut through some woods but the undergrowth was dense and we abandoned the ‘short cut’.  We called into the coffee hut for a drink and shared a HUGE Eccles cake then finished our walk. Got home and  OH did another coat of paint in the bathroom and I did some ironing. 

Late afternoon, I had signed up for an hour handing out tea bags at the local railway station for Brew Monday, but there are less commuters since Covid so we only did an hour or so.  Hopefully it will spread the word a bit.  Home for dinner and a warm up in front of the fire.
