A Splashing Time

Okay...tomorrow it's the Edinburgh 10k run...my first ever.

So, naturally I've developed a cold, am aching all over and feel very sick...

They say,not to do much the day before even two days before.

Plenty of rest and look forward to the day.

So

Today, I cut all the grass, did all the weeding, dug some earth from one place to another, washed the car inside and out, got the laundry done, cleaned the house and did the shopping.

Idiot

(Best bit though was my two car-wash attendants who, after a cursory wipe at the car with a soapy rag ran headlong through the water collecting in a big puddle in the gutter - marvellous!)

Now, where's me horse-liniment..?
