Get back on the Horse!

What a day for the Edinburgh 10k marathon - great weather 10,000 runners and a medal at the end!

This was my first time (like Mr Gray!) and I was pleased to come-in under the hour - only just.

The only difficulty (other than the fact that I run like a duck) was the route got quite narrow in places and at times slowed us down to a walking -pace.

This meant a lot of "ooh, sorry was that your face/arm/leg/bum I just ran into? Never mind - It's all for charity..!!"

Great fun (and quite nerve-wracking at the start too) I think like Beck I'm getting the running bug.

Later-on we went to my running partner's house for an ace barbeque and Oliver decided that Hector (the Great Dane) would make an excellent horse...

...which he does -(that is ONE big dog
