We needed a new kettle so off I went up town to the big shop that sells such things. Because obviously we wanted one exactly the same as the one we had. Then a bus back down the hill.
Much later, after an absolutely enthralling session on the PS4, we watched a film. Azor, which was no8 on the Guardian’s 2021 list. Conspiracy thriller I believe is the genre, though actually it was very evenly paced and it slowly built to an understated climax. I liked it very much but nope, it’s not no8 on my list, well unless there were only seven other films.
