New Bud!

For Tiny Tuesday's theme of 'things that give you hope' I offer this, a new bud on the Amaryllis 'Dancing Queen'. Host, Pinkhairedlady, might like it.

A year ago it fell on the floor, and recovered. During the summer it was still in the sitting room, crowded on the coffee table with the red one and two poinsettias, watered well enough. Then it was dumped, with the others in the utility room and neglected. Gradually drying out, calls to me to repot it were ignored, so I was surprised today to see a new bud.

It's tiny today,  but I hope for progress as the weeks go by.
