New Sign

My hairdresser pointed out a new sign on her salon window, just above the opening times. As I understand it, she hadn't known until it 'just appeared'.

Standing for Strands For Trans and in the style of the traditional barber-pole, substituting pink for red, it indicates to the LGBTQ community that the hairdresser is sympathetic to the requirements of individuals, not gender-based, so prevents any embarrassment by both parties. And I can vouch for M, not because I am Trans but I have met other clients while there and observed their relationship.

I think it's a great idea.
