Duckling

This little fella' was swimming along with his siblings in the River Tyne this afternoon when
We had our leisurely walk along the river bank, of course ending up at a local hostelry for the proverbial refreshments. We didn't stay too long as Rufus, the mutt, decided to talk to everyone that passed by. He didn?t seem to get the point that barking, whining and gurning just didn?t endear him to others. Fortunately the ducklings were oblivious to this disgraceful behaviour.
However there may be a repeat as I will be wading in the same river in two weeks time trying to retrieve 1200 yellow plastic ducks from the river in aid of the school charity fund? There must a be a easier way to make money for the school than getting immersed in a silt filled river !
