Just outside Bampton, on the way up to Wether Hill

After Debs Physio in Askham, we drove over to Bampton, and walked up to Wether Hill. It's the Wainwright we could have added on the other day when we did Bonscale Pike, if it hadn't been quite so far!

We'd found a walk on the web that said it was a 4.5 mile walk from Bampton, trouble is, it didn't say that was undermeasured, and it was each way. By the time we got back to the car, we'd managed just over 12 miles! (and it was about 1/2 an hour from being dark).

This was shot on the way up, I did like the trio of the two trees and the ruin, and thought it worked so much better in mono.
