Early morning, Derwentwater

A misty start, so Deb & I dived in the car and rushed down to Grasmere - as we passed over Dunmail Raise we entered thick fog - which looked like it was set in for hours. We turned round and came back to Hawse End. Whilst Deb went for a run, I had an hour and a half's photography. For this photo, I Had two grads on, but even with that, the brightness where the sun was almost showing through the clouds was so bright, I still had to bracket 5 stops and combine the 5 images in Lightroom.

I did like the way the reflection of the cloud wrapped round the foreground rock though.
