Mole hills on the landscape

for some reason I thought it looked mild outside and didn’t dress properly for the cold wind that greeted me on the road, walking back was more so.

This land is always covered in molehills, wouldn’t it be interesting to know what tunnels they have underneath here. I once asked about digging out the mole hill soil for the garden, I was very politely told no. Fair enough.
