Busy Wednesday

Austin childcare today with the support of my sister. As the childminders husband still testing positive.

Lili had the vets first thing - annual booster and brief check up (so expensive, it was only a 10 min appointment);

Dropped Lili home and then on to visit AJ. She was waiting for the paramedic practitioner from the GP surgery to check her back (has some extensive bruising following her slip last week). She was ok but fed up of being stuck in her chair. Talked with AJ and the senior nurse and encouraged the daily exercises (evidently AJ keeps declining) - stand up and sit down x 10 times. She had had another off day yesterday, spent in bed (so out of character for AJ);

Back home to collect my sister and Austin - off to the supermarket. Shopped for lunch/coffee plus other bits. Home for lunch.

Managed to encourage Austin to have a sleep - just the right amount of time for me to have my nails done (next door);

Collected Caleb from school, took him back home for my sister to look after whilst I took Poppy to the vets (check up from operation last week).

I couldn’t have managed today without my sister, I think she secretly loved looking after Austin. :)
